What is Vinyl Flooring?

Vinyl flooring is made up of four layers. It is easy to install, clean and maintain thanks to its these four layers...

	Upper layer: protective layer
	2nd layer: durable layer
	3rd layer: printed design
	Bottom layer: either felt or fiberglass

What the layers do...

The top layer is a protective upper layer which makes the flooring easy to clean. The following layer is made out of clear vinyl which has protective properties as it adds durability and makes this product resistant to scratches. The next layer is the printed design which is responsible for the final design and pattern. The final layer is the most important as it decides the way in which the flooring is installed. Felt layer adheres better to the floor and glue is used to install, whilst the fiberglass layer makes the flooring more stable and so glue is not required for installation.
